Lido di Jesolo near Venice in Veneto is a large international holiday resort with a 15km long beach, many hotels and a pedestrianised main street with a wide selection of shops and cafes. This is where the nightly passagiato takes place! The resort itself has attractions such as the Aqualandia water park, bowling alleys and weekly markets in Jesolo town but its main attraction is its proximity to Venice.
A short coach drive followed by a ferry across the lagoon bring you to the Bacino di San Marco right at the Bridge of Sighs and the Doge's Palace. From here it is a short stroll to St Marks Square and Cathedral or a little further to the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge.
Another favourite excursion would be a cruise of the lagoon with a visit to the islands, Burano and Murano to see the glass blowing.
